Q.    What are "Numbers" and how do they work?

A.    Generally, there are 2 different types of "numbers" handed out for our sales. "Temporary numbers" which are handed out by the first person to arrive to a sale, they will usually sit in their vehicle, and have some sort of a sign on their vehicle indicating that they are the one handing out "numbers". This is generally done to ensure that the first person at a sale, is also the first one in the door. Generally, for temporary numbers, if you leave the area after receiving your temporary number, your number becomes invalid. Once we arrive on the scene, we will open the door to the sale, and we will then exchange your "temporary number", for a "permanant number". You are allowed to leave with your permanant number, but must be back when we open the doors one hour later, as we will then start allowing people inside the sale according to their number.

Q.    When are the pages with information/pictures of the sales updated?

A.    Our website is updated with information about the weekends coming sales on Wednesday afternoon, and will generally contain pictures of some of the featured items at the sales, as well as an earlier, and more in detailed description of the items than in the newspaper ads.

Q.    What are the directions to the ________ sale?

A.    We suggest going to www.mapquest.com, there you can get exact turn by turn directions & maps, from wherever you are, straight to wherever you want to go. It is a very handy website.

Q.    I hear you have weekly e-mailings with all of the info about your sales, I would like to receive it, or I would like to be taken off of your mass mailing list.

A.    Just drop us a quick email at list@estatesale1.com and indicate that you would like to be added or removed from this list, and it will be done immediately upon receipt.
